Hello and welcome to the University of Kansas! My name is LaTisha Davis and I am an Associate Director in the TRIO Supportive Educational Services office.  Prior to working for TRIO SES, I served as an advisor in the Undergraduate Advising Center at KU. I also teach an orientation seminar UNIV 101,  serve as co-advisor for the Black Student Union, and advisor for UNITY Hip Hop Dance Crew.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University, which is located in my hometown of Wichita, KS, and my Master of Liberal Arts degree from Baker University. Before coming to KU, I served as an Academic Advisor and Head Cheer/Dance Coach at Coffeyville Community College in Southeast Kansas.  During my time there I advised and coached student-athletes, served on various committees, and was very active in the community.  I have worked in the education field for over ten years and enjoy helping students reach their academic and professional goals.

In my free time I enjoy, cheering on my son at his many sporting events, spending time with family and friends, traveling, visiting museums and historical sites, volunteering in the community, collecting vinyl records, and listening to live music.
