Maggie R Borders

Maggie earned their B.A. in English (Creative Writing) from the University of North Texas in 2010 and their M.A. in English from Kansas State University in 2012. Before coming to KU, Maggie worked at Kansas State as an English instructor, TRIO McNair Scholars Program coordinator, and Student Access Center advisor. They are currently a doctoral student in Student Affairs in Higher Education at Kansas State University and plans to focus their dissertation on student/campus environment interactions. Their educational and professional background has instilled in them a belief that listening to individual stories is essential to helping students thrive.
