Maggie R Borders

Maggie earned her B.A. in English (Creative Writing) from the University of North Texas in 2010 and her M.A. in English from Kansas State University in 2012. Before coming to KU, Maggie worked at Kansas State as an English instructor, TRIO McNair Scholars Program coordinator, and Student Access Center advisor. She is currently a doctoral student in Student Affairs in Higher Education at Kansas State University and plans to focus her dissertation on student/campus environment interactions. Her educational and professional background has instilled in her a belief that listening to individual stories is essential to helping students thrive.
