TRIO Scholars
About
At the end of each academic year, TRIO recognizes students for outstanding academic performance at the End-of-Year Recognition and Graduation Celebration in May. Two types of award designations are provided.
Eligibility
The TRIO Scholar designation recognizes current TRIO SES & STEM participants who have earned a 3.00 or higher KU cumulative GPA for 2 consecutive semesters of full-time enrollment or 3+ semesters of part-time enrollment.
The TRIO 1st Year Achievement Award recognizes new freshmen and transfer students who successfully completed 12 or more credit hours with a 3.00 or higher KU GPA in their first semester.
